  • Position: Data Center Administrator
    Location: Montreal, Quebec

    As a member of our Network Operations team, you will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day operation of our high-availability data centres and data centre infrastructure. You will manage supplier relations and coordinate purchases and infrastructure maintenance. Responsibilities will include the following:
    • Manage activities supporting multiple 24/7 data centres and computer room facilities.
    • Manage major infrastructure (such as HVAC systems, UPS, generators, security, etc) and facilities including production and disaster recovery sites.
    • Monitoring major infrastructure and interfacing with multiple 2nd and 3rd level support staff as well as 3rd party suppliers to address problem situations as they occur.
    • Manage facility requirements for power, space, and cooling.
    • Manage disaster recovery planning, testing, and readiness for data centre systems.
    • Maintain the corporate Data Centre strategy including efforts to reduce operational costs and manage Green IT initiatives.
    • Monitoring enterprise data backup process and reporting.
    • Experience with backup, recovery and archiving solutions using Symantec NetBackup.
    • Ensure all asset management processes are followed to ensure the accurate management of the Firm's technology assets.
    • Maintain infrastructure related documentation related to processes that support the Data Centres
    You possess a Bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent, along with a minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in infrastructure or IT operational management.

    You have excellent English and French oral and written communication skills, along with strong synthesizing and analytical skills. You are a self-starter, meticulous and results-oriented. You are able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Position: Network/Windows Administrator
    Location: Montreal, Quebec

    As a member of our Network Operations team, you will be primarily responsible for helping ensure the various Cisco networking devices and Windows servers are fully operational and offer a high level of availability. You will also be required to work on the implementation of new projects relating to our company's networks and systems.

    You will help manage and maintain the VMWare virtual environment. You will be responsible for the Symantec Netbackup enterprise backup system. Additional responsibilities include the following:
    • Install, configure and maintain Cisco devices.
    • Install, configure and maintain MS Windows servers.
    • Install, configure and maintain VMWare ESX servers and virtual machines.
    • Manage the Symantec Netbackup enterprise backup system.
    • Ensure 24/7 availability on the various systems.
    • Ensure proper operation of the disaster recovery solution and conduct regular tests.
    • Secure systems and perform required daily controls.
    • Provide Level 3 technical support to the application support team.
    • Contact outside suppliers as needed.
    Required Skills:
    • Expertise in configuring Cisco network equipment, routers, and switches.
    • Expertise in most Microsoft technologies, ranging from Active Directory management to Exchange.
    • Knowledge of VMWare ESX server and virtual environments.
    • Experience with backup, recovery and archiving solutions using Symantec NetBackup.
    • Knowledge of storage management is as asset.

    Position: Applications Support Specialist
    Location: Montreal, Quebec

    As part of our Technical Support team, you will deploy and maintain advanced electronic payment applications.

    In addition, you will support our merchants and liase with various internal departments regarding the integration, configuration, and troubleshooting of our proprietary software applications via telephone and email. You are familiar and comfortable working in a production environment, and are committed to producing high-quality work according to a predictable schedule.

    You have a strong sense of urgency, you can easily handle a high volume of work and you are recognized as being responsible and reliable. You are able to work autonomously, while cooperating as part of a team. You have great problem-solving and analytic skills. You have strong leadership skills and work well under pressure managing multiple projects working with multiple technologies. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills in both French and English.

    You have a College degree (DEC) in Information Systems or equivalent training, coupled with 8-10 years of experience in Internet or MIS support, ideally in an e-commerce environment.

    You are available to work after hours in order to provide on call support.
